Cold weather causes lubricants to thicken, making your door work harder. Apply a silicone-based lubricant (not WD-40) to:

- Roller brackets, Hinge screws, Track mounting brackets, Opener mounting hardware
Look for signs of wear without touching these high-tension components:
- Frayed or worn cables, Rust on springs, Gaps in torsion springs, Stretched extension springs
